2009 Annual Meeting

The 32nd COFE Annual Meeting was held June 15-18, 2009 at the North Tahoe Conference Center, Kings Beach, California.

 

There were approximately 70 people in attendance.  Hosts were  the University of California at Davis and the USDA Forest Service. 

 

The theme was “Environmentally Sound Forest Operations.”

 

Highlights of the business meeting are on Page 2 of this newsletter.

 

Copies (disk by mail or by email) of the 2009 meeting proceedings are available from the COFE Office for $20.  Individual papers will be listed on the COFE website in the future.

Text Box: Harry William Lee 1938-2009 Harry Lee began teaching at the University of Idaho in 1980. He was involved in the Inland Empire Forest Engineering Conferences, Idaho Pro-Loggers Programs, Logger Safety Education Programs, Continuing Education & Extension Service, and COFE. A memorial service was held June 9 at Moscow, Idaho.
